Welcome to my website!

I am a clarinetist pursuing a Bachelor's in Music Education with interests in conducting, wind band music, and arranging/composing. This website is where I will host my music and assignments for courses I'm currently taking (i.e., MUSIC 1802B). Please visit my About page to learn more about me, and feel free to reach out via the Contact page.

Here's some random things I've found interesting

Here, a seemingly repeated German Augmented 6th chord is actually functioning as an applied Dominant 7th chord which starts off a chain of more applied Dominant 7th chords. And that's an analysis of our auditory perception of the music, not necessarily just strictly the note spelling/enharmonic equivalencies.

I appreciated her view that we needn't drop our standards as educators just because we're working with more inexperienced students. Instead, we should continue to push them so they can grow and earn a sense of fulfillment.
